THE DIE-HEAD
EM LabEx extrusion systems offer a monolayer die-head and a 3-layer die-head for blown film. The die-head of the EM LabEx lab extruder is designed to process film of the thickness from 10 to 250 microns. The die diameter of the monolayer is 30 mm and the 3-layer have 40 mm. The die-gap of the monolayer is 1,0 mm for the monolayer extruder, and 1,2 mm for the 3-layer extruder. Other measures are optional. The protection shields are of stainless steel.
Die gap adjustments and cleaning of the die-heads provided by EM Labex are simple and straightforward. Please contact us if you would like to know more.
